Free weights or dumbbells are never used in a kickboxing program because of the possibility of injuring your muscles.


This type of fitness program appeals to people of all ages. It is almost like a choreography class or aerobics learning all the different steps and hand techniques. You can workout at your own pace and gradually increase your level of intensity. The punching activities help to work out the upper body, while the kicks target the muscles of the lower body.
